Regional Commissioner - Bob Reutter
Heads up the region and makes sure everything happens when it's supposed
to. The buck stops here. All final responsibility rests with the RC and
as such he/she has to stay plugged in to all aspects of the region's business.
Year long commitment. 3-year term limit. Is also responsible for building
and appointing the Board

Assistant Commissioner - Luis Durazo

Registrar - Luis Durazo
Primary role is to organize and execute the registrations we hold each season. Logs all payments received and delivers them to the
Treasurer for deposit. Sends rosters into to AYSO National and USASA so the players are covered by insurance, etc. This person needs
to be pretty computer savvy since the rosters are done in Excel . Must also supervise team construction and balancing with the
Regional Commissioner and the DC's. Information should then be relayed to the Web Developer to post appropriate information to the
Region membership. Year-long commitment.

Secretary - Mark DeLorenzi
Is responsible for records of minutes at Board meetings, as well as booking space for such. Messages and action items should be
distributed to the appropriate Board members directly, while keeping the RC in the loop. Year-long commitment.

Treasurer -
Adrian Guetter
This person is responsible for maintenance of all region bank accounts and accounts payable therefrom. All checks issued must be
double-signed by another voting board member. All accounts must be audited annually by an external auditor. Reports from the audit
must be delivered to the Board, and to the Area Director for Phoenix. All financial activity is tracked through National's accounting
dept. Any discrepancies must be resolved by the Treasurer with that office. The RC must be kept notified at all times. The Treasurer
is expected to help the Registrar with organization and running of each registration. The Treasurer also needs to work with the RA to
ensure payment of our refs in a timely fashion. Year-long commitment.

Director of Communications -
Paul Scowen
The Director of Communications shall be responsible for preparation and distribution of the regional newsletter at a frequency to be
determined by the Regional Board, and will assist and oversee any communications that relate to all members of the region.

Web Master -
Jerry Sutton
The League website is maintained, updated, and moderated by this person. Responsibilities include close contact with our hard-working board members to ensure that the league site is up to date.

Safety Director -
Jerry Sutton
This person is responsible for the safety training of all coaches, for the provision and maintenance of first aid equipment and facilities
at the fields, and for educating coaches and players about safe conduct both on and off the field. The safety director also handles all
paperwork and filing of insurance claims by injured players and volunteers with USASA. Close work with the equipment officer is necessary.
Year-long commitment.

Coach Administrator -
Deena White
This position serves to identify and train our coaches for the variety of teams we service. The Coaching Administrator also intervenes
when problems arise in a coach's method or practical approach. The CA is required to register all classes with USASA to make sure all
coaches received their qualifications. The CA is also responsible for ordering equipment for the coaches. Year-long commitment.

Referee Administrator -
Position Open
This position works to recruit, train, schedule and organize enough refs to cover the 4+ games a weekend our region plays. There are
varying levels of adult refs available but we need to strive to get the best for our games to avoid issues on the field. Training for
these refs needs to be within USSF's guidelines and done by accredited trainers. It is the job of the RA to register, schedule and
organize such classes. This person really should be a ref in their own right so they understand the issues at hand, but anyone with
good organizational skills could do the job. The RA is responsible for collecting and tracking game cards to monitor progress throughout
the season. The RA is also responsible for working with the Treasurer to get the refs paid each week after they are done with their games
at the field. Year-long commitment.

Uniform Director -
Victor Tinajero
This person works directly with the various vendors we as a region use to acquire our player uniforms and coach equipment. This person
stays in close contact with both the Registrar and the RC to anticipate shortfalls or surpluses depending on projections for enrollment
versus actual numbers. Coaches work with this person for additional uniforms should they be needed, and if approved by the RC. Year long
commitment.

ID Card Administrator -
Joy Grosskreutz
This position manages all aspects of ID Card design, production, records and distribution for all players in the league. This person should
have solid organizational skills, good computer knowledge and graphic design ability. This position does not require an entire season
commitment. Most work is done before or at the beginning of each season.

Coed Divisional Coordinator -
Position Open
This vital position serves to keep this division of teams well organized and informed of issues and concerns that affect their play.
The coordinator is expected to help the Registrar with organization and running of each registration. Thereafter they are expected to
work with the Registrar and RC to build teams for this division and make sure they are balanced based on several criteria. The DC's work
to get their coaches to their meetings and training classes (through the CA) , their refs to their classes (through the RA, if applicable).
The DC is a conduit between their teams and the Board, and need to relay requests, complaints and information as quickly as possible. Once
the season is under way, the role is quite passive, and they only need to step up when an issue arises. Year long commitment.

Tournament Team Administrator -
Position Open
This person works to identify prospective USASA tournaments for our teams to participate in, as well as organize the registration of
teams into the tournaments, and payment of associated bills. As such they need to work closely with the Registrar and the Treasurer.
Close contact with the Coaching Administrator is necessary to provide whatever training or support is needed by the Coaches. Will need
to work with Field Officer to acquire space and time for practices. Year long commitment.

Special Events Coordinator -
Jenna Sutton
The Special Events Coordinator shall be responsible for organizing and running all special events and activities of the Region approved
by the Regional Board. This position requires a small commitment and covers a large scope of potential responsibilities.

Auditor -
Position Open!
This position will provide internal auditing as an independent consultant. The position is required for financial documentation review
and for improving the organization�s financial operations. Additional duties include evaluating risk management and compliance with legal
requirements relating to non-profit organizations. Candidates will posses systematic and disciplined approach in evaluating and suggesting
improvements in the overall financial system.

Equipment Officer -
Sergio Romero
This person is responsible for the safe condition of all facilities and equipment used by players and coaches in the Region.
They are responsible for replacing or ordering new equipment as needed and to regularly inspect equipment for damage while in use.
Equipment should be taken out of service if it is found to be dangerous. Is responsible for moving equipment from storage to the
field(s) each week and setting it up, and taking the equipment down at the end of play and returning it to storage when the games
are done. Year long commitment.

Field Marshall -
Bob Reutter
The Field Marshall monitors games ensuring there are no issues of safety or misconduct on or off the field. Should any issue arise
that is beyond the referees control, it is the Field Marshall who maintains order and speaks on behalf of the board with the authority
to eject players, cancel games and address any medical emergency. This person needs to be trustworthy and 100% familiar with the Leagues
rules and regulations.

Scheduler -

The Scheduler shall be responsible for working with the Fields Officer to make sure enough fields have been booked to provide adequate
field space for practices for every team as well as enough fields for each weeks games. They will be responsible for scheduling such
practices and games and communicating the schedule to all members of the Region.

Field Officer (Chandler)-
Jennifer Diehl
This person works intimately with the City of Chandler to provide and ensure access to
field space for both practice and game times each and every year. This is a political role that involves people skills to communicate our
needs to Chandler and to communicate their needs to the Board and the RC. As such this person probably needs to be a Chandler resident.
The Field Officer should work closely with the Treasurer to ensure all bills are paid promptly. The Field Officer should also work closely
with the CA, the Safety Director, and the DC's to ensure there are enough fields for practice times needed as well as enough space and time
for games at the weekend. The Field Officer should also work with the Scheduler to make sure games and fields match up each week. Any
problems should be communicated with the RC immediately. This person is also responsible for scheduling all games, practice times, field
space and personnel for the activities of the region. The FO needs to work with the DC's, the Registrar, the RA and the Safety Director.
Information should be relayed promptly to the Web Developer for posting to the region website, along with any changes. Notification should
also go to the Communications Officer. Year-long commitment.

Marketing & Sponsor Coordinator

The Marketing & Sponsor Coordinator shall be responsible for obtaining sponsors for Regional events and the proper acknowledgment of such support.
This person will work closely with the Director of Communications. A background in marketing and sales would be beneficial for anyone
interested in this position. |
